Hello! It's me again :) Today is a "pointing the finger" kinda day! I am referring to people who don't know how to carry their fair share of a conversation!! :( I mean, really, do you think saying just "hello" to introduce yourself is going to be a real conversation starter? Especially if you know the person you are speaking with? The answer is.......NEVER!
Granted, I can be quite shy when meeting new people but what happens when you just reply to questions with a "yes" or "no" answer? I will tell you what happens... that other individual you are talking with is inside his head thinking...how in the hell am I going to get out of this one?...B-O-R-I-N-G!!!!!
I urge you to please have some consideration for the people you intend to engage in conversation. You can most likely be even nicer than Donna Reed but that will not help if you can't carry on a simple interesting dialog with another individual. This especially holds true if you are chatting on a site that one has to wait quite a while (by today's computer standards) to receive an answer. You wait ALL that time and then receive a tiny, non-stimulating response.......AGGRAVATING!!! If I were not so polite I would click you off in an instant :)...but I am nice, so I am giving you a little advice, instruction, whatever you would like to label it.
Happy chatting!! :)
Ciao and HH

HA-HA-HA!!!!
i may be shy beyond belief, but DONNA REED has nothing on me. my problem is the opposite:TMI!!! (too much information) if i do get started, i just blabber on, as you can see...
bla-bla-bla...
but you first have to get me out of my shell: a nice smile in person, or a gentle approach on the web....
not like some guy who went "OMG! i want to marry you!!" major turn-off. i thought i was almost getting married at one point in my life, and it would have been with the wrong guy. (OH_SO_WRONG!!!) i had enough sense to get out of there. so, when a guy uses that sentence, not good, really not good. i may be "charlotte", but i like polite conversation, anything that doesn't involve semen or lube...
you know!!
and if i may give you some advice: don't be so polite! click them off! you're not losing anything there, and you might gain some time focusing on those who are worthy. it's not prejudicial, it's common sense. lose the baggage!!
so,
TMI???
:D~

LOLOLOLOL...seems you and I have the same problem!! I tend to go on and on, especially if the one I am talking to seems interesting.
I totally agree with the art of the gentle or interesting approach. I certainly DO NOT like being approached with the bombshell openings such as the one you described! Do people really think that is what everyone is after? "OH, YOUR HOT!!"...is my favorite but of course they don't feel the iciness of your "thank you" or see the roll of your eyes when the stupidity comes across your message screen.
I am thinking of incorporating your piece of advice into my routine :):):)

ANGELO
please do!!
it's free of charge.
who needs that kind of aggravation anyway?
:D~

Hello, it's my again! (LMAO)
What I hate, besides monosyllabic replies a la "ditto", "yup", "hehe" and "LOL", is when a guy unleashes on your his fantasies of the dream guy and how you seem to embody each of them. Mind you, it's never your personality that is complimented.
Plus, when my eyes get no attention, I completely shut off and leave the guy with whatever part of my upper body he was busy staring at. Now, I think I know which website you're talking about, Angelo. :)
@ Ticklebear: I am of your mind, my friend. A decent and fun conversation should be mandatory. All those guys who wanna marry us right off the bat is so 2008. My point is "Don't tell me! Just try your luck." But in this day and age, where even "educated" guys can barely formulate a proper sentence when they're on the hunt for the next "cum dump", who would wanna chat?!?
I chat with my friend. More than satisfying.
yup!!
he-he!!
ditto!!
:)~

@ Ticklebear: Those guys separate their use of "yup", "ditto" and "hehe" by one-hour intervals.
TMI, indeed. :D
@ wil:
honey,
you've been doing this for too long!!
step away from the computer...
Alright, I am off to bed. :)
@ wil:
really?!?
@ Ticklebear: Yes, I went to bed as soon as I replied to this. Then, the weather got so hot so suddenly that I woke up gasping for air. When I think I went to bed earlier cos of the rain and cold ...
@ Wilmy~
LOVE the introduction to your first comment! You are rewarded with a big fat :P phhhhhhhtttt, with love of course :)
@Wilmy and @Ticklebear~
You two would make a GREAT comedy team but I am at a loss of which comedic legends to compare you to for an example. Aside from that, you guys are a barrel of laughs for me and provide the smile I like to wear for the day :):):) Many Thanks!

ANGELO
finally!
a reaction from the hosthere...
i would suggest "sex and the city" as long as i can be "miranda", the cynical one...
;)~
HUGZ
BTW:
wil would so be "charlotte", the romantic one...
:D~
uh ... and that leaves me to be Carrie or that other one's name...lol...I choose to be Carrie plzzzzzz! :D I also totally agree with both of the other chosen roles :)
HH~
samantha is irrelaceable, so you be "carrie"!!
:D~

@ Angelo: And you agree?
P.S. I went nuts and deformed my blog! :p Wonder who inspired that ;-)

HUGZ
You'd be surprised. I'm more like Samantha: romantic and sensitive but claim otherwise. :p
